After workout, a short FB live, first time practice eating meditation. Spent 20mins to finish a slice of poppy seed walnut raisin bread with peanut butter (I can eat like this for one whole week 😬 peanut butter freak)
The experience was good, although been lockdown at home but didn't really taste my food wholeheartedly. Today experienced the slow chewing, every bite was tasteful, the soft texture of bread, the popping poppy seeds, crunchy walnut, sweetness of raisin, visualized how peanut grown and harvested. Truly enjoyed it.
Followed with a good 30mins reread my fav.
"If you hold back in the emotions - if you don't allow yourself to go all the way through them - you can never get to being detached, you're too busy being afraid. You afraid of pain, you afraid of the grief. You're afraid of the vulnerability that loving entails.
But by throwing yourself into these emotions, by allowing yourself to dive in all the way over your head even you experience them fully and completely. YOU KNOW WHAT PAIN IS, YOU kNOW WHAT LOVE IS. YOU KNOW WHAT GRIEF IS. And only then can you say, 'All right. I have experienced that emotion. I recognize that emotion. Now I need to detach from that emotion for a moment."

Face whatsoever fear, pain or love deeply, when we truly "been" there, hold it or let it go will be in our control.
